Artist Talk, Tod Papageorge

Tod Papageorge, the Walker Evans Professor of Photography, at the Yale School of Art

Photographer, writer, and educator Tod Papageorge will discuss the work of Robert Adams on the occasion of the retrospective exhibition at Yale. His essay “What We Bought” appears in the third volume of the recent exhibition catalogue, Robert Adams: The Place We Live. Papageorge was appointed Walker Evans Professor of Photography in 1979 and was the director of the graduate study in photography until 2011.

Presented in conjunction with the special exhibition Robert Adams: The Place We Live, on view at the Gallery through October 28.
