*The Naomi Schor Lecture Fund was established in 2002 to honor and perpetuate the memory of Naomi Schor, a pioneering feminist theorist and eminent scholar of 19th century French literature and culture. Naomi Schor was Benjamin F. Barge Professor of French at Yale, where she earned her doctorate in 1969.
