“The Tempest”

The Control Group

Location is wheelchair accessible
The Control Group was founded in 2000 because some kids wanted an experimental theater company. So, they founded one. “The Tempest” will be a collaborative, physical, and installation based process of generating a show from the core and framework of Shakespeare’s text. Control Group will be exploring text-based generation in its coming season while retaining its unique creative process. Site specific, Control Group’s “The Tempest” will draw on the constraints of a non-theater environment to explore internal and external space and the manipulation of perception and emotion. It also might be funny, but that depends on you.

Part of Shakespeare at Yale, a semester of special events celebrating the Bard.
