George Nelson: Architect, Writer, Designer, Teacher

This exhibition explores the work of George Nelson ’31 M.F.A., the iconic 20th-century industrial designer, architect, and writer whose innovative designs include the Marshmallow sofa, bubble lamps, the eponymous platform bench, and the first L-shaped desk, a precursor to the present-day workstation. This exhibition originated at the Vitra Design Museum, Weil am Rhein, Germany.
