Sakhioba Ensemble: Traditional Georgian Sacred and Folk Music Concert

Sakhioba presents a program of vocal polyphony from the Caucasus mountain regions of Georgia. Experts of sacred and folk music, these singers have already impressed audiences worldwide with their virtuosic and entertaining performances. The 13 member choral ensemble will present a selection of ancient three-part polyphonic chants from the Orthodox Christian liturgy, and folk songs, circle-dance songs, ballads, war-dances, and love songs from Georgia.
