Lecture, A Tension So Exact That It Is Peace: The Work of Robert Adams

This lecture, by exhibition curator Joshua Chuang, elucidates the major themes in the extraordinary body of work produced by American photographer Robert Adams over more than four decades. Based upon six years of deep collaboration with the artist, Chuang provides insight into Adams’s humanistic values and explores the ways in which they are expressed in his art.
