Yale’s Shakespeareans

Location is wheelchair accessible
Manuscripts and Archives, in the Yale University Library, is a major center for historical inquiry and also serves as the documentary memory of Yale University. The exhibit draws on university records, personal papers, and collected materials to highlight how the works of Shakespeare have been brought to life in the Yale classroom and on the many stages of Yale. Class lecture notes, syllabi, books by noted Shakespearian scholars trained at Yale, posters, photographs, programs, and drawings document the intersection of teaching, scholarship, and performance at Yale with the world of William Shakespeare.

Part of Shakespeare at Yale, a semester of special events celebrating the Bard.
