Wishing Well: Water for the World at Yale is a non-profit organization committed to empowering developing communities by bringing clean water to those in need. Every $5000 raised builds one well in developing nations like Sierra Leone, Uganda, and the Philippines. We hope to contribute to this cause by raising money through an auction of artwork both donated by Yale School of Art faculty members and submitted by Yale students to our competition titled Contemporary Conceptions of Water. Through this effort, we hope to both raise enough money to build a well in Rwanda this summer and build awareness by engaging our community creatively.

The public auction begins on Friday, February 24 from 7-9pm during our opening reception, and will last until March 1.
